Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is the Mexican American sportscaster. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked at ESPN in the year 2016. She is a daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual since nine years old a useful ability that allowed her to secure her first position working as an assistant to the producer for Univision in Miami which provided her with the opportunity to collaborate with producers of National programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. In St. Petersburg, she was recruited by the CBS station to work as the sports reporter. Then, in 2009 the reporter relocated into Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as in addition to Fox2 News. Reporting on stories on drug trafficking and immigration across the border of Mexico and Texas. Border, she worked as reporter for news for the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 from 5 pm, an anchor for the news channel on English until 9pm, then a news anchor for 10 pm, and then returned on KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. The duties of anchoring for sports or weather were often asked for. She then anchored and reported for Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was given more responsibilities. Her birth date was November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985, in Mexico City. Also, she has an older sibling. Her family left in 1992 Mexico and relocated to Miami. Soon after the family split up, and in the year 1995, Fabio Fajardo got married again. He passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. It was during a time of summer when she was with her younger sister at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured a job. Antonietta who was in high school who had a vision of how she would like her life to be like, visited Mount Union University in order to find out what she could get out of the college. The campus was a dream for her. The university also provided her with the degree she wanted. When she completed her high school education she enrolled in the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor and managing director at WRMU (91.1 FM) which was where she felt at home. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her by his love of journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
